She is the first to win gold in the swimming pool in this year’s Tokyo Paralympics.

On the threshold of teenage and at the brink of beginning her twenties, Maisie Summers-Newton, also from Great Britain, has stunned everyone with her incredible performance and successfully secured her debut Paralympic title in the summer 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.

For the extremely popular British Paralympian, Dame Sara Storey, the gold she won in the Tokyo Paralympics this year by winning in the 3000m individual pursuit, is her fifteenth gold medal in the Paralympics. This 43-year-old has yet again broken her own world record.
